Dion Kerr Trio. Performing three sets. Monday, December 16, 9 p.m., Van Dyke Cafe, 846 Lincoln Rd., Miami Beach; 305-534-3600; thevandykecafe.com. $5. Much like those smooth, jazzy vibes of his, Dion Kerr is "a real chill dude." And after countless gigs across the Magic City, the musician and his crew are celebrating the release of their debut album, Self-Portrait in Pale Blue. So sit back, enjoy the music, and watch your Monday blues melt away.

Yung Simmie. Basement Musik 2 Release Party with Glow Team and DJ Kurr. Wednesday, December 18, 10 p.m., The Stage, 170 NE 38th St., Miami; 305-576-9577; thestagemiami.com. Tickets cost $12 plus fees via eventbrite.com. Yung Simmie's all 'bout that "Florida Nigga Mentality." And he's dropping hits like he's "Blackland thugging, Raider Klan mugging." So "Shut Up and Vibe" as Simmie gives us a taste of that Basement Musik 2.

Curren$y. The Green Christmas Tour with DJs Smokey Bear, Willie Biggz, and KD. Hosted by Butta of 99 Jamz and Carlito of Terror Squad. Thursday, December 19, 8 p.m., Grand Central, 697 North Miami Ave., Miami; 305-377-2277; grandcentralmiami.com. Tickets cost $30-$100 plus fees via ticketfly.com. "Fuck the fame." Curren$y's in it for "the money and bud." And with all those Gs and kush, it's sure gonna be one Green Christmas.

Y100 Jingle Ball. With Miley Cyrus, Robin Thicke, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Armin Van Buuren, Enrique Iglesias, Fall Out Boy, Flo Rida, Avril Lavigne, Jason Derulo, and Fifth Harmony. Friday, December 20, 7:30 p.m., BB&T Center, One Panther Parkway, Sunrise; 954-835-8000; thebbtcenter.com. Tickets cost $56-$266 plus fees via ticketmaster.com. Because nothing says the Holidays like watching Miley Cyrus wag her sloppy wet tongue while twerking on Robin Thicke's crotch to an Armin Van Buuren rendition of Enrique Iglesias' "I Like It."

The Heavy Pets. With the Funky Nuggets and DJ Scotty. Saturday, December 21, 8 p.m., Culture Room, 3045 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale; 954-564-1074; cultureroom.net. Tickets cost $12 plus fees via ticketmaster.com. Get your jam on and groove to the funky beats of FTL's the Heavy Pets.
