If partying with The Knocks and Brass Knuckles are any indicator of what's in store for Memorial Day weekend, then you better put your party pants on and get ready for some non-stop EDM and dance action.

The best part of it all, you don't have to wait until the weekend to get your fist-pumping juices flowing. There are plenty of bashes going down all week that'll do just that.

Ages 21 and up. These guys got their name from way back in the day when neighbors would knock on their door for playing their music too loudly. Nowadays, the Knocks find themselves blasting beats in front of thousands of EDM head-bangers.

Much like brass knuckles, the nu-disco, funk beats of the DJ trio hit you like an unexpected blow in the face that knocks you down to the dance floor.

Dave Sol. Friday, May 24, 11 p.m., Story, 136 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-538-2424; storymiami.com. Tickets cost $30-$40 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. It isn't easy being a resident DJ at a mega night club where superstar DJs like Calvin Harris, Kaskade, and others of the caliber have had their shot on the 1s and 2s... unless you're Dave Sol. He runs those decks like a boss.

Mednas. Saturday, May 25, 11 p.m., LIV, 4441 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-674-4680; livnightclub.com. Tickets cost $40-$75 via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Mednas has always had a love affair with music, but admits on his bio that EDM is his musical calling. "With electronic music, I can finally combine all kinds of music in one." And he does so, oh so well.

Stephan Luke. Saturday, May 25, 11 p.m., Bamboo, 550 Washington Ave., Miami Beach; 305-695-4771; bamboomiamibeach.com. Tickets cost $20-$30 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Stephan Luke's house beats will have your "Body Talking" with all of the uhntz-uhntz "Pressure" in the room.

Danyelino. With Hardline, Thunderpony, and Hugo Blanco. Saturday, May 26, 11 p.m., Story, 136 Collins Ave., Miami Beach; 305-538-2424; storymiami.com. Tickets cost $30-$40 plus fees via wantickets.com. Ages 21 and up. Danyelino's funky house beats produce a powerful techno energy that'll have you fist pumping until the wee hours of the night, and then some.
