If you've been paying any attention to Crossfade's occasional pre-show coverage of the MTV Video Music Awards, you've no doubt taken note of the fact that we consider Music Television to be a soul-sucking celebreality wasteland and its marquee annual event, the VMAs, to be a total joke that only gets shittier and shittier with every passing year.
