John "Jellybean" Benitez is inseparable from the history of popular dance music. The pioneering Nuyorican DJ-producer got his start spinning records at some of New York City's most seminal nightclubs, including the legendary Studio 54 and Paradise Garage.
And since the early '80s, he's put his Midas touch on countless club bangers. Perhaps most important was his role as producer for some of the most iconic pop divas of the last three decades, from Madonna to Debbie Harry.
With his command of Latin freestyle and house, Jellybean is certainly a favorite in Miami, which is why the Vagabond has kept him coming back for his Ain't Nuthin But A House Party monthly residence for a couple years now.
Catch him there on Saturday. And in the meantime, brush up on his stellar discography with Crossfade's top five Jellybean-produced diva jams.
1. Madonna's "Holiday"
2. Whitney Houston's "Love Will Save The Day"
3. Debbie Harry's "Feel The Spin"
4. La India's "Dancing on the Fire"
