You've got a date with pop star Kat DeLuna. And surprisingly, the little Dominican chick is pretty low maintenance.
All she wants is a trip to Dolphin Mall, some movie tix, refillable popcorn, two new pairs of banana yellow high-tops, and three or four games of bowling at Strike Miami.
Oh, and for you to hold her body like a Coca-Cola and "Drop It Low" as she cuts the ribbon on Dolphin's new second-floor party spot, Pulse Lounge.
The mall club is a nightlife project from Tom Shannon, who's also the owner of swanky bowling joint Strike Miami as well as six similar upscale sporting spots in New York City, Long Island, and Bethesda, Maryland -- not to mention a couple West Coast locations in Cupertino and Orange County, California.
And according to Pulse Lounge's press release: "Pulse Lounge features VIP seating in semiprivate booths with bottle service, a 35-foot bar, a 20' x 15' stage for live performances, a 2,600 square foot dance floor and an open DJ booth facing the crowd."
Sounds like the perfect place to let Kitty Kat try on those high-tops, dance too hard, and teach you how to "Whine Up" (go bowlegged, now snap) in one of those "semiprivate booths."
Kat DeLuna as part of the Pulse Lounge opening party. Thursday, July 28. Pulse Lounge, 11401 NW 12th St., Second Floor, Miami. The party starts at 10 p.m. Call 305-722-3900 or visit pulseloungemiami.com.
