For the Winter Music Conference attendee who felt that six days of constant pounding beats wasn't enough to shake off the winter cold is in luck this year. Organizers had the bold idea of expanding the panels and parties throughout the course of 10 days. And if that wasn't reason to enough to network among dance music's elite, the whole shebang is moving to the beach – or the Beachplex (21st Street and Collins Avenue, Miami Beach) to be exact. During the conference's run, the massive tent will host seminars on music distribution, radio exposure, and DJ and producer technology, as well as the International Dance Music Awards and the not-to-be-missed Record Collectors Show, where the vinyl enthusiast can spend his or her entire day rummaging for rare records.
