She has been known to steal the spotlight, most notably when she belted out the hooks on “Song Cry” and “Heart of the City” during Jay-Z’s MTV Unplugged performance. Wright nonchalantly shrugged off an ill-fitting genre via her most recent album, the searing Divorcing Neo 2 Marry Soul, and she’s here to lay down the groove at Jaguar Wright’s Soul Sessions, a special presentation of the popular weekly spoken-word poetry session The Bohemia Room.
