Whole Lotta Shaking Going On

After a few lemon drop shots, you might think you’re the funniest thing since the 2000 election, and your equally drunk friends just may agree. But we’re here to tell you the awful truth: You’re awful. To see comedy at its finest, take your corny ass to the Miami Improv from today through December 2 and check out Earthquake. No, it’s not a shaky setup to bring you down, and it’s not the comedian’s real name either. Guess who gave him that moniker?

“My mother named me that because she said anytime you take all the precautions that I took not to get pregnant, you have to call the baby a natural disaster,” the comedian explains. This weekend you’ll definitely hear Earthquake take on his favorite topic – women -- but he says all subject matter is up for grabs. “I don’t write; it just depends on how I feel,” he says. He’s brought those feelings to stages across America and even the TV screen, but tonight you can see him live and in person at 8:30 and 10:45.
