Jeopardy! can be so daunting. We don’t know about you, but all of those questions about geography, world history, and foods that start with the letter q seem impossible to answer. But ask us about wacky celebrity baby names, Eighties one-hit wonders, and reality TV romances, and prepare to have your mind blown. Don’t dismiss knowledge of modern media trivia as mere fluff: Thanks to the geniuses at Just the Funny, the detritus that fills our brains and keeps us coming back to Perez Hilton every day (instead of that annoyingly informative Drudge Report) could actually be worth something! Exactly what, we’re not sure — the prize is to be announced at the Just the Funny Pop Culture Improv Challenge.

Come ready to laugh and answer questions. Audience members will be paired up with comedy teams in a test of TV, movie, music, and celebrity trivia knowledge. What is Screech’s real name? (See headline for answer.) Who won the second season of American Idol? What reality competition did Anderson Cooper host before he got all newsy? If you know the answers and have 10 bucks burning a hole in your wallet, get thee to the Just the Funny Theater. The challenge begins at 9 p.m., and there’s more Chicago-style comedy at 11. Admission to both shows is $12.
