Get ready, bitches. Spring in South Beach just got a lot more sassy. And a lot more drunk.

The South Beach Comedy Festival announced its 2014 dates today, as well as its first headlining act -- none other than the brash, deadpan, unapologetically booze-hungry Chelsea Handler.

This year's comedy fest will run Tuesday, April 1 to Saturday, April 5. (No, that isn't a lame April Fool's joke -- though we bet some of the smaller acts performing on opening day will make a few of them for us.)

The only performer announced so far is Handler, star of the E! Network talk show Chelsea Lately and author of such books as Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea and Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang. Basically, she's a badass with no scruples, no shame, and no filter. Case in point: the title of her tour, which includes a stop at the SBCF, is "Uganda Be Kidding Me," also the title of her next book, due out in March. Because genocide is hilarious!

Handler last made headlines when she suffered an injury during a ski trip, showing off a heel-to-knee cast -- as well as her otherwise naked lower half -- in a Twitter photo in December. We think she'll fit into Miami's exhibitionist culture just fine.

There's no word yet on the rest of this year's SBCF performers. In the meantime, if you wanna see Handler in the flesh, she'll be performing Friday, April 4, at 8 p.m. at the Fillmore. You can snag tickets via LiveNation for $59.50-$92.50. They'll be on sale starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 17 at southbeachcomedyfestival.com, livenation.com, the Fillmore Miami Beach box office, all Ticketmaster outlets, or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
