The thought of Burger King doesn’t typically bring exercise to mind (unless you count when the creepy King runs around like a weirdo in BK’s commercials).
But the fast-food giant actually does some work for the common good, and at the upcoming Burger King Fun Run, you can burn off all the calories you regrettably consumed with your last Whopper — plus help a good cause.
This Sunday, the 5K adventure will kick off on South Beach, and all ages can get their run on to benefit the corporate chain’s McLamore Foundation, which provides scholarships to needy students worldwide.
Bring the kiddos, ’cause there’ll be a Family Corner where they can play the day away or run their little legs off in a kiddie dash. They can also score swag, and you know they need more toys. Always more toys.
