Legendary British DJ/producer Stave Lawler will be playing at Gryphon Nightclub at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino this Thursday night. A child of the '90s UK rave scene, Lawler got his start organizing some of the infamous M42 Motorway illegal parties as a teenager, before getting his big break in 1995 when he was signed on as a resident DJ at Liverpool's famed Cream nightclub. His production work, which includes releases under the Novocane and Chameleon monikers, has garnered massive worldwide acclaim as he's joined the ranks of such EDM giants as Sasha, John Digweed, Deep Dish, and Danny Tenaglia. By 2005, after a decade of chart-topping releases on renowned imprints like Bedrock Records, he started his own Viva Music digital label, in a forward-thinking reaction to the evolving music industry and new online distribution. With a self-described "filthy and sleazy" take on dark electro-infused progressive house, Lawler continues to command dancefloors at the world's most renowned big-room venues, including Space Ibiza, The End and Twilo.
