One of the reasons to love Miami in the winter is the fact that we have pool-perfect weather and it's almost December, which is why New York menswear brand Parke & Ronen will pop up at the recently renovated Shelborne Wyndham South Beach (1801 Collins Ave., Miami Beach) this Friday through Sunday. Designers Parke Lutter and Ronen Jehezkel have left their coats in NYC and brought their favorite pieces of impeccably fitting swim- and sportswear to the white sands of South Beach, which just so happens to be the inspiration for their Resort 2015 collection. So stop by the Shelborne and check out the swank new $90 million digs. Then head to the cabanas by the pool, where Parke and Ronen are setting up shop, and buy a little something from their new collection. Trousers, lounge pants, striped tanks, low-rise swim trunks — whatever you decide will come with gratis advice on how to wear it from the designers themselves. And because you’ll need to put your newest acquisition to good use, the Shelborne will open its pool to the public during the three days of Parke & Ronen. Winter pool days are the best.
