One Week Left to Submit to New Times' MasterMind Awards

Calling all local artists, filmmakers, musicians, dancers, and wordsmiths! Have you submitted to the New Times' annual MasterMind Awards yet? The deadline is fast approaching, with only one week left to submit.

Every year, we offer monetary grants of $1,000 each to three winners and well-deserved exposure to creatives across Miami. Last year, New Times awarded performance artists TM Sisters, experimental dance company Bistoury Theatre, and artist Randy Burman grants. Previous MasterMind finalists include Borscht Film Festival cofounder Andrew Hevia, filmmaker Julian Yuri Rodriguez, visual artist Kevin Arrow, and musician Otto von Schirach.

Submissions will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. Sunday, January 17.
