No Walk of Shame Required

Picture this: You’re out enjoying yourself in the Design District, sipping some finely crafted cocktails, browsing through records on sale, and jamming to the sounds of an R&B DJ when your mother calls. You answer the phone, and she asks what you’re doing. “Not much,” you reply. “I’m just in the middle of a one-night stand.” Locust Projects is giving you this chance to totally freak out your parents without technically lying to them, with the latest installment of its One Night Stands event series. The series pairs unlikely creative collaborators with surprising venues around town, resulting in fun, unexpected, and unique good times. Head to South Street (4000 NE Second Ave., Miami) this Thursday to check out a pop-up vinyl shop set up by Sweat Records, and shake your groove thing to classic R&B and soul sounds. The guys from Bar Lab will be there too, serving the signature cocktails that have made them beverage gods in this town.
