Support the independent voice of Miami and help keep the future of New Times free.

It's back! The New Times' Miami Web Awards is here to pick the best of the web.

Who's the Funniest Twitterer? Who can lay claim to Meme of the Year or Best Viral Video? Can you choose just one Food Instagram User that has you salivating when you look at your smartphone?

Well, it's up to you to decide. We are accepting nominations in this year's categories. We want you to scour the Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach web presence for our local digital pioneers. You have until Wednesday, October 9, to fill out your nomination ballot. After we've counted the votes, we'll return on October 11 with the finalists and one final round of voting to determine the winners.

Winners will be revealed at our Miami Web Awards event on November 14 at Shots Miami.

What are you waiting for? Start nominating!

Keep Miami New Times Free... Since we started Miami New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Miami, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Miami with no paywalls.
