Mamma Mias

Chances are you’ve never heard of Swedish band Waterloo. But we’ll bet our bedazzled bell bottoms you’ve heard of ABBA. Well, on Friday at 8 p.m., you can experience the group that’s “the closest to ABBA you’ll ever get.” Waterloo (named after one of the iconic pop group’s hit singles) will perform the music of the band you hate to love in ABBA the Concert at the Fillmore Miami Beach. The ABBA tribute band, which performs all over the world, looks strikingly similar to the original quartet; band members sport the same feathered bangs, bemused countenances, and frilly fashions. All of us have a little bit of dancing queen inside, and who wouldn’t want to see “the best ABBA since ABBA” shimmy to the sounds of “Fernando” and “Take a Chance on Me”? Oh, don’t front — you know you want to.
