Where will all Miami’s rasta lovers be this weekend? At a lush green oasis in Little Haiti called Naomi’s Garden. They’re hosting a two-day music and culture fest dubbed Raize It Up Live. Expect African drumming and dance, Kemetic (Egyptian) yoga, natural healing and sustainable living workshops, tribal face painting, and henna tattoos. Keep an eye out for vendors selling African jewelry, musky incense, exotic oils, and hand-carved didgeridoos. "Empress of Hip-Hop" Soulflower will be on the mick. In addition, hear poetry by Rebecca Vaughns and music by Johnny Dread and Mr. Brown. Come get your peace and love on.
