It’s time for another Downtown Walking Tour, where all of you undiscovered artists and amateur photogs can handle expensive equipment and toss back mimosas. Hosted by Leica Store Miami and the Coral Gables Museum, the tour invites the first 12 participants to use Leica compact cameras to snap shots of Gables’ historic business district.
The participating photographers are also invited to submit a photo to the 2014 Capture Coral Gables Contest and Exhibit, in which the grand-prize winner will receive a Leica D-Lux 6. Hit the streets to get a leg up on the competition. What do have to lose?
The tour begins at Coral Gables Museum at 11 a.m. this Saturday and ends at the Leica store on Miracle Mile for complimentary mimosas.
Cost of the tour is $5 for museum members and $10 for nonmembers. Photographers should bring their own memory cards for the compact cameras. Call 305-603-8067.
Last Saturday of every month, 11 a.m. Starts: Feb. 22. Continues through July 26, 2014
