Laid-Back and Lovin’ It

Monday seems like the most logical day to stay home and avoid going in to work hung over the next day. But what kind of Miamian would stay home on a weeknight? Then again, if a low-key affair is something you are looking for, check out the Duchess, the Monday-night soiree at the Mondrian. Here, an older and affluent crowd mixes in the hotel's Sunset Lounge to enjoy $9 caipirinhas and strawberry mojitos. And with the drop in temperature and humidity, what's not to love about the gorgeous Marcel Wanders-designed indoor/outdoor space? The sun might go down a little too early this time of year, but the glimmering lights of downtown Miami's skyline are a stunning substitute.

No list and no cover keep with the laid-back style of the party.
