If you lived through the 1960s, you remember the hippie counterculture, the explosive sexual revolution, and the protests against the American government for the sake of world peace. Or maybe you don’t. There were a lot of drugs back in the day. On the other hand, if you didn’t live through the ’60s — and if you can get past the image of your unshaven, bell-bottom-wearing parents sexually experimenting in the back of a VW bus — a part of you probably wishes you were there to experience it all. Regardless of your age, you’ll get a taste of the grooviest decade in history at the musical Hair, which has been drawing audiences into its own psychedelic state of consciousness since its 1967 debut. Friday is one of your last chances to feel the vibes, man, when actors with long, shaggy hair and little to no clothing will be busting out “Aquarius” and “Let the Sun Shine In” through Sunday at Area Stage Co. (1560 S. Dixie Hwy., Coral Gables).
