Miami is among the healthiest cities in America, so considering the consistent availability of deep-fried empanadas, locals must love to work out. If your current exercise ritual is beginning to bore you -- or, gasp, you’ve hit a plateau -- run, jog, or walk to a computer and join the Overtime Sports Club. For no cost, you can become a member and sign up for any one of the club’s several unique sports leagues and classes. Beginning tonight from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (or Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.), heavy hitters can play cardio tennis, a high-energy workout that will have you grunting like Monica Seles. At the end of the five-week session, your body will thank you. Or if you want to go back to the future and have a little recess, the club also has a co-ed kickball league. Cardio tennis costs $75.
Thu., Feb. 8, 8-9 p.m.
