Well, here we are again. July 15 is upon us. You know what that means? Two days after my birth -- oh, whoops! Actually it’s the day after Bastille Day, a good reason to practice your enunciation of the word we (only spelled differently), and the perfect opportunity to check out Alliance Française de Miami and celebrate Fête de la Fédération. July 14 marks the storming of the Bastille and the uprising of modern France, so it’s a great excuse to wear a beret and drink some French wine. Enjoy live music, and peruse the refreshments and French delicacies for sale. Do I hear crêpes? Yes, sir! Salmon, ham, chicken, spinach, chocolate, and strawberries -- but not all in one. Plus there will be a raffle. Win some fresh French stuff. Lavender fishnets? Maybe. But vino, DVDs, and CD gift certificates? Bag it (Get it? Bag it? Wee!) at 7:00 p.m.
Sat., July 15, 7 p.m.
