Free Cock?! Yeah, it's a cheap ploy to grab your attention. But it's also true: We're giving away free tickets to GableStage's upcoming performance of the show titled -- no, really -- Cock.

Not since The Motherfucker With the Hat has GableStage mounted a play with a title as controversial - it's right up there with previous GableStage provocations as Fat Pig and Smut. And no, Cock has nothing to do with a rooster.

Find out how to win after the jump.

Cock is about a gay man who, on a brief separation from his boyfriend, meets the girl of his dreams, complicating all three lives in this sexual orientation-bending triangle. Like Duncan Macmillan's Lungs, which enjoyed its South Florida premiere earlier this year, Mike Bartlett's Cock is theater stripped of its artifice, with the playwright specifying no scenery, props, furniture, or miming. This means that one of GableStage's perennially strongest assets -- its set designs -- will not be part of its toolbox this time around, putting an even greater emphasis on the quartet of actors and the playwright's difficult text, which won him an Olivier Award for the play's 2009 premiere in London. Joseph Adler will direct Julie Kleiner, Ryan Didato, Peter Galman and Nicholas Richberg in the Southeastern premiere.

We're giving away two tickets to the show on this Friday, May 17, and winning is easy. All you have to do is sign up for the New Times GLBT newsletter, which has the added benefit of keeping you connected to South Florida's events, concerts, movies and more in Miami's GLBT community. All that, and free Cock to boot.

Winners will be contacted by May 15. Visit miaminewtimes.com/promotions/freestuff to sign up for your chance to win.
