Fly By Night Down the Highway to Hell

For those about to rock, we assume you! Or something like that, because two of the ’70s most iconic rock outfits will be resurrected by two amazing national cover acts. Break out your leather and grimy white tees for the AC/DC and Rush Tribute Show, going down this Friday at Churchill’s Pub (5501 NE Second Ave., Miami). Shot Down in Flames from Northeast Florida will bring the “T.N.T.,” playing all the AC/DC classics and making sure all dirty deeds are done dirt cheap. On the flip side, the fellow Floridians of Crush will step into the “Limelight,” bringing the “Spirit of the Radio” to life like the modern “Tom Sawyer”s they are. These bands go all out, from clothes to antics to attitude and, of course, pure skill. If you were too young to catch Geddy Lee or Brian Johnson in their heyday, this is the best way to get your kicks and shake it all night long.
