Cram the Rams

It’s week six in the NFL season, and surprise, surprise, the Miami Dolphins aren’t quite as crappy as we thought. Sure, they’ve had tough losses against the Cardinals and Jets, but a lot of that has to do with Dan Carpenter’s fragile kicker’s ego. Thankfully, bright spots have been aplenty in the season so far: Ryan Tannehill looks like he might not be the “project QB” he was originally tagged to be. Brian Hartline is breaking franchise records. And now that Kanye West has locked down talent-stealing succubus Kim Kardashian, Reggie Bush is fulfilling the promise his extreme skills have always teased. On the other side of the field are the St. Louis Rams, a team that at one point was almost purchased by an investor group led by Rush Limbaugh. That alone should be enough ammunition to crush their souls, unless promising yet underachieving third-year quarterback Sam Bradford and star running back Steven Jackson have anything to say about it. But if all things fall into place, it may mean a strong division standing for the Aquatic Mammals. The (hopeful) beatdown begins Sunday at 1 p.m.
