Color Me Carnival

Carnival is traditionally a colorful bacchanal, designed to let party people go wild one last time before getting all pious (or at least trying to) during Lent. It’s not unusual for revelers to drink, dance, and party till the wee hours. But bring the bash to Miami and add 1,200 gallons of paint to the mix, and you have the ingredients for a next-level night of insanity. You don’t have to give up your sinful habits for 40 days to celebrate Miami’s largest bi-annual theme party. Come ready to get wet and dirty, so dress accordingly. The good people behind Miami J’ouvert are going all out for its tenth year, and you can bet you won’t be going home without getting covered in color from head to toe. The never-ending open bar will get those dance-floor jitters under control. Plus, a variety of local and international DJs will be kicking the groove with all the bright and colorful sounds of the Caribbean.
