Consider the hamburger for a moment. If you drive by practically any street corner in America, you can find this ubiquitous meat sandwich. What other food can be eaten and prepared so many different ways? From the humble fast-food burger to Kobe renditions by celebrity chefs, we love the burger in all its forms.
If you share our passion for beef (or turkey or lamb or ostrich or bison), you’ll want to experience the Grind Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Miami Entertainment Complex, where more than two dozen of South Florida’s best restaurants will compete for the coveted golden grinder award. Stuff your yaw with burgers from restaurants such as the Filling Station, the Lokal, and Shake Shack while enjoying live music and unlimited beer, wine, or cocktails. Leave some room for dessert, because Fireman Derek’s World-Famous Pies, Azucar Ice Cream, and Mandarin Gourmet Doughnut Shoppe will provide happy endings.
Tickets for the Grind cost $75 in advance or $85 at the door and include all food, drinks, and entertainment. Indulge in the VIP experience for $125 and receive a cool badge, access to the VIP lounge, and a meet-and-greet with the Grind judges.
