Bites on Brickell

If you’re still suffering from South Beach Wine & Food Festival withdrawal, don’t worry. At this weekend’s Taste of Brickell Food & Wine Festival, you can join 15,000 of your closest friends for lots more gluttonous merrymaking. The lineup at the third annual incarnation includes more than 40 local eateries, from Taverna Opa and the Oceanaire Seafood Room to El Vato Mexican and Baru Urbano. Attendees can buy bites from their favorite spots while downing cocktails and vino as they go. Celeb chefs will also be on hand to host demos. In addition to eating and imbibing, guests can listen to live entertainment by the Queen of Kings, Pocket Change, and MC Jenny Love. Before they dance, parents can drop the kids in the carnival-esque “kids’ zone,” complete with bounce houses and Marlins giveaways. There’ll also be a Baywalk, chock full of exhibitors, vendors, arts and crafts, and other goodies.
