The Florida Marlins didnt make any serious offseason acquisitions to upgrade last seasons craptastic bullpen, and their manager may have suffered from narcolepsy during games. That being said, the Marlins front office is sure talking a shitload of trash these days. Sure, theres great young talent such as Josh Johnson and National League batting champ Hanley Ramirez. Theres also Rookie of the Year Chris Coghlan entering his first full season, Jorge Cantus 100 RBI-ability, and Dan Ugglas big-game stroke. The promise of these players had team president David Samson telling the Sun Sentinel that the season will end in a pile. Lets hope hes talking about the kind you see when a team wins a championship, and not the other type of pile. The Fish take on the Cincinnati Reds this Thursday at Sun Life Stadium.
