Anchorman, Stormtroopers, and Other Awesome Kicks Spotted at Sneaker Con (Photos)

Just because a ball player decided to bring his talents to South Beach, Miami was elevated to one of the sneaker capitols of the world. Sneaker Con, which has been held in NYC and D.C., hosted its first Miami showcase this weekend at the Fieldhouse at BankUnited Center. (Read our interview with event founder and sneakerologist Alan Vinogradov.) Sneakerheads lined up for more than just Nike's LeBron Zoom 8 South Beach edition.

With over 30 vendors hawking kicks, we pulled out five amazing footwear finds below. Some have wings, others have portraits, and our favorites take their inspiration from pop culture. Click on sneaker porn that references everything from Anchorman's Ron Burgundy to Star Wars' Stormtroopers.

5. Mercury-Wing Sneakers in Camo
Hey sneakers, are your arms tired? Because you've been flying through our minds all day. Meet the Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals JS Wings Camo. You can pre-order them here for 179 euros. They'll be released on September 1.

4. The Other MJ
Check out this custom All-Star high-tops with a Michael Jordan portrait.

3. Panda Feet
Also by Jeremy Scott, these panda sneakers are available for pre-order from CaliRoots for 199 euros. They release on August 8, so you'll be able to cuddle with your footwear in about a week.

2. Stormtrooper Sneaks
Adidas continues their Star Wars collection with this El Dorado Stromtropper shoe. Inspired by the Rebellion Era Stormtrooper, the shoe's galactic empire soldier is removable thanks to Velcro on the tongue -- in case you suddenly get shy about your sneaker flare.

1. Anchorman
Here's more custom art -- this time on a pair of Vanz. As Ron Burgundy said himself, "I don't know how to put this but I'm kind of a big deal."
