A Festival We Believe In

Here's a music festival you can feel good about attending. The May Flowers Music Event is coming to the Corporate Pavillion at C.B. Smith Park on May 23, and net proceeds will be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help find a cure for Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkin's Disease, and Myeloma. $10 in advance and $15 at the door gets you access to bands like HereIIHere, No Mercy, Shauna Sweeney, Michael Shivers, Hiatus Road, Lest She Speaks, Bob Singer, Rob Koppelman, and Ashley Lewis. Visit the Myspace page for more information or to pick up your entrance wristbands.

KEEP MIAMI NEW TIMES FREE... Since we started Miami New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Miami, and we'd like to keep it that way. With local media under siege, it's more important than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" program, allowing us to keep offering readers access to our incisive coverage of local news, food and culture with no paywalls.
