There is power in one. Come see for yourself as the “solo” takes a new meaning when thirteen graduating seniors from the New World School of The Arts perform one-person-shows as their B.F.A. senior projects this Friday. Open and free to the public at The Tower Theater, the performances feature 20-30 minute solo pieces written and produced by the students themselves. David Kwiat, Coordinator of the One Festival for nineteen years, says that completing such a task takes “verve and an abundance of creativity.” Some anticipated standouts are Truly Billie Holiday, Superuseless, Kindergarten Kiss-off and Ballad of a Child Soldier. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to see the future of theater at its best.
