"Horror in Haiti" Photo Outtakes

With Haiti in shambles before the 2010 earthquake, and worse after it, kidnappings have become a big business. Every month in the dilapidated country, 160 people are kidnapped. The criminals often prefer children.

Gregoire-Ronald Chery, a U.S. federal agent, was on vacation with his family in Haiti when he stepped outside to answer a phone call. That's when he was shot and killed by kidnappers. Read more about Ronald's story in this week's feature "Horror in Haiti."
