After current Cuban leader Raul Castro announced major policy changes in 2010 that allowed small-scale free enterprise, Cubans have embraced the idea of trabajo por cuenta propia, regulated self-employment. New Times takes a closer look at Buenavista, a heavily populated neighborhood in the coastal municipality of Playa, in Havana, where the entrepreneurial spirit seems to be flourishing.
