With no work on Monday, South Beach was busy Sunday night before Labor Day. Peak into what went down at Bella Rose, Buck 15 and Laundry Bar.

House music legend Roger Sanchez spun at Mansion Saturday night. The New York DJ got the South Beach set off of the VIP couches and dancing all night long.

Saturday night, local acts Otto Von Schirach, Jose El Rey, Peasant with Feathers, Notorious Nastie and El Tigre took over PS14 for Club Jupiña Colada.

In August, Rock the Bells came into town, as did the newly reunited Stone Temple Pilots and Smashing Pumpkins. Dirty Birds Christian and Justin Martin stopped by Shine, while Baltimore DJ Scottie B took over the decks at White Room. New Times' Unzipped fashion show strutted its stuff across the Midtown 4 pool, while JAM at MAM showcased Art of Shade.

Not too long ago, Laundry Bar was the place for South Beach's gay set. With the venue calling it quits, it is only befitting that Shelley Novak and friends pay their respects to the place.

San Francisco label Dirty Bird returned to Miami for a Dirty Bird Wedding at Shine at the Shelborne in Miami Beach. Brothers Christian and Justin Martin dropped the house-heavy beats along with local favorite DJ Sebastian.

Legendary MC Biz Markie took over the decks at Parkwest on Saturday night.

It was a zoo at White Room on Saturday night with people partying in animal print and costumes. And despite some sound problems early in the night, New York DJ Blu Jemz and Danny Daze worked up the crowd.
