Tiramesu, Sardinia Chefs Face Off in Italian Cooking Show
The battle is the first of the Italian Cooking Show IV, a series of five monthly cook-offs organized by the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce to showcase the regional cuisines of Italy. On Thursday, Taretto will cook dishes from the Veneto region and Vardeu will prepare a Sardinia-inspired menu.
Attendees watch the chefs demonstrate how to prepare each of their dishes, taste them with a wine pairing, and then rate them to select a winner. Based on our experience last year, the tasting portions are generous and so are the wine pours.
The event runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at 105 Miracle Mile. Tickets are $45. Seating is limited. Can't make the cooking show? A reception showcasing Italian foods and wines immediately follows. Cost is $10. RSVP to email@example.com.
