The Great Food Truck Race Sweepstakes: Nominate Your Favorite
If you're a fan of the food trucks (and who in Miami isn't), chances are you have a favorite. It could be the cheesy goodness of CheeseMe, Sugar Rush's cupcakes or Jefe's fish taco, but we know you have a special truck that gets your heart and tastebuds racing. If that's the case, here's the chance to tell the world!
The Great Food Truck Race has finished filming Season Two (and Short Order was there). The premiere of the new season is August 14 on Cooking Channel and to celebrate, they've announced a sweepstakes that allows both you and your favorite food truck to win.
If you're a food truck owner:
Make sure your truck is nominated by August 5th. Yes, you can nominate yourself or have someone do it for you here.
Starting on August 14 (we'll remind you), have everyone you know vote for your truck. People can vote daily, but only once per day.
Voting ends on September 12. The truck with the most votes wins $10,000 and a chance to be on season three of The Great Food Truck Race.
If you're a food truck fan:
Make sure your favorite truck is nominated by August 5th. If you don't see your favorite truck on the list, nominate it here -- you have the power.
Starting August 14, vote daily for your favorite food truck and encourage your friends to do the same.
Every time you vote you'll be entered in a random drawing to win a trip for two to the Food Network New York Wine & Food Festival. The $5,000 value includes airfare, hotel and party tickets.
In other news, food trucks are at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino tonight from 5:30 to 10 p.m. The allure of this event is the close proximity to blackjack, slot machines and booze. Trucks serving dinner include: Aaron's Catering Express, B.C. Tacos, CheeseMe Mobile, Churro Mania, Daddy's Grill, Dim Ssam a Gogo, Dolci Pecatti, The Fish Box, The Flying Saucer, Grill Master Cafe, Jefe's Original Fish Taco, Latin Burger, Latin House Grill, Meatballs & Etc, The MexZican Gourmet, Mr. Good Stuff, Ms. Cheezious, Nacho Bizness, The Red Koi, The Rolling Stove, Slow Food Truck, Sugar Rush, The Yellow Submarine. 1 Seminole Way, Hollywood
