Star Wars: The Force Awakens hasn't even opened, but already the film is destined for box office history.
Variety has reported that advance ticket sales have topped $100 million, with Disney distribution executive Dave Hollis issuing a statement, “The advance ticket sales for ‘Star Wars: The Force’ Awakens’ are beyond what anyone could’ve anticipated, let alone for a December release, but with that said, theaters not only have millions of tickets available for this weekend, but they also in most cases have the ability to add shows and screens according to demand.”
To meet that demand, the brand, spanking new iPic Theater in North Miami Beach has announced it will have continuous showings of the film for three days straight.
From Thursday, December 17, at 7 p.m. through Sunday night, the theater will be open 24 hours a day, showing the film in both 2D and 3D. You'll also be able to see the movie in style in the theater's plush seats. Premium seats for Star Wars: The Force Awakens are $16 for non-members, $14 for members. Premium Plus seats that include a reclining feature, pillow and blanket, free popcorn, and waiter service are an additional $16 for non-members and $12 for members.
But wait — here's the best news of all!
The City of North Miami Beach has issued a special event permit to the theater, allowing it to serve alcohol through the weekend. That means that you can sip all the beer, wine, or nitro-infused mojitos you like while watching Rey kick some stormtrooper butt! This special permit is only available at the North Miami Beach location. The Boca Raton iPic will be showing the film 24 hours, but liquor sales will shut down at 2 a.m.

The theater's Tuck Room full-service restaurant will also stay open 24 hours throughout the weekend so if you want to have a cocktail, see the 2 a.m. showing, then grab an early breakfast at 5 a.m. you can do so.
Of course, a movie of this magnitude deserves its own drink. iPic's advance mixologist, Adam Seger, has created the Galactic Blue Moscow Mule for the occasion. The drink starts out as blue as the sky over the Tatooine desert then turns magenta when you squeeze your limes into it! This magical elixir is available exclusively at the
Mos Eisley cantina iPic Bar (you can also have it delivered to your premium plus seat). The cocktail is $11 and a spirit-free version is available for $6.
