Slow Food Truck is in the top ten to win $10,000 and the title of America's Favorite Food Truck in Food Network's Great Food Truck Race.
Slow Food Truck is the only South Florida food truck in the top ten, with a seventh-place ranking. In first place is California's Bap Pul.
The contest runs through September 12, and you're encouraged to vote. In fact, each vote counts as an entry into a sweepstakes to win a trip for two to New York to attend the New York City Wine & Food Festival, including invites to some exclusive chef parties.
Slow Food Truck isn't the only local in the running. In all, our
hometown is represented by an impressive 17 trucks, including:
B.C. Tacos, Big Kahuna, CheeseMe, Crepe Outdoors, gastroPod, Happy Greek by Chef on 4 Wheels, Jefe's Original Fish Taco, Latin Burger, Latin House Grill, Mangia Mia, Manila Rice, Meatballs & Etc., Moty's Grill, Mr. Chimi, Ms. Cheezious, and the Red Koi.
Vote early and vote often. Whether you vote to take
Slow Food Truck over the top to victory or for another favorite, let's
have a Miami truck take home the title! Click here to vote.
