Score an Invite to Be. Wines and Blo Midtown's Exclusive Night of Wine & Style Updated: Winners Announced!
Has the bad weather got you down? Short Order knows just how to fix your bad hair/mood day -- an evening of winetasting and hair blowouts, compliments of our friends at Be. and Blo Midtown.
On Wednesday, June 27, from 7 to 10 p.m., Blo Midtown (3301 NE 1st Ave., Ste. 102) will have an exclusive invitation-only party.
A select few will experience Be., the first wines designed to be paired with your mood. In addition to providing some appetizers, Blo Midtown will style you up.
We don't know about you, but between the usual Miami humidity and the recent rain, we here at Short Order look like the love child of Bozo the Clown and an Airedale terrier about now, and it's 5 o'clock somewhere.
So how do you get your name on the list? Hop over to our Facebook page
and tell us why you can use a little wine and hair therapy. The five
best reasons score (with a plus-one, because no one should drink wine
alone). We'll announce the winners tomorrow at 9 a.m.
Be. wines, by Treasury Wine Estates, are available in four varietals: Fresh
Chardonnay, Radiant Riesling, Bright Pinot Grigio, and Flirty Pink Moscato. You'll get to try all four. Which is enough to put anyone in a great mood!
We've announced our winners and have some good news! First of all, we couldn't choose from the great responses we received on our Facebook pages. How can we choose between schoolteachers starting summer recess, broke-ass students, women in lousy jobs, and full-time mommies? So we begged and the promoters agreed to up the ante! Congrats to the following Facebook fans who will receive VIP attention, a goodie bag, and some good wine and pampering:
Megan Walsh, Christina Haramboure,
Shari Leigh, and
Be. Wines and Blo Midtown are also inviting more Short Order readers to the event. There are a few more limited spaces left. If you want to get in on the fun, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If there are spots left, you'll receive a confirmation via email.
