The Sandbar Sports Grill in Coconut Grove is gearing up for its tenth anniversary celebration, and that means more burgers, more beer, more sports on the plasmas, and many more late-night revelries, Sunday breakfasts, and midday Hurricanes.

We stopped in for a bite last week and had the mahi-mahi wrap. Nothing says Miami like dolphin, especially on your plate. The wrap cost $8.25 and came with chips and salsa (substitute fries for an extra buck).

If you've never been, you ought to go. The joint is modeled after a California surf shack and has a menu full of tacos, burritos, sandwiches, burgers, and assorted Tex-Mex, but it's got a Grove soul and a history as great reggae bar the Hungry Sailor.

Food prices range from $6 to around $13. You can sit inside or out, daytime or night, and enjoy the underrated people-watching in the Grove.
