New Times' Brew at the Zoo (BATZ), the seventh-annual celebration of suds, returns to Zoo Miami Saturday, May 7, with more beer, more food, and more entertainment than ever before.

Miami's largest beer festival (and the only one that features guest appearances by zoo creatures), offers unlimited samplings of more than 100 of the best local and international beers.

More than 4,000 beer lovers from across South Florida are expected to attend the festivities, which run from 8 to 11 p.m. and include a concert by Arrested Development. 

BATZ also offers a great assortment of eats and drinks for purchase (allowing you to drink more beer). Try delicious burgers from Shake Shack and classic Greek fare from C&R Foods including lamb gyros, fetal salad, and chicken on a pita. 
Of course, the main attraction is the beer, and there's a lot of it. The beer list is in and it's a great one, featuring breweries both large and small, near and far. Brewers and brands pouring at this year's Brew at the Zoo are:

If you haven't gotten your tickets to Brew at the Zoo, now is the time. General-admission tickets allow entry to the event at 8 p.m. for unlimited beer samplings and the live performance by Arrested Development. GA tickets cost $40 through May 6 (or $50 at the gate).

Brewmaster tickets allow earlier entry, at 7 p.m., and offer access to special Brewmaster-only exclusive craft beer pours from 7 to 8 p.m. Brewmaster tickets cost $70 through May 6 (or $80 at the gate).
