This weekend there are only three things on the minds of everyone in Miami: Where to take Dad for Father's Day, where to Watch the World Cup, and WTF with the Miami Heat?

Lets's focus on the positive, shall we?

World Cup fever has taken over Miami and you've got to take in a few games -- but where? You don't want to walk into a bar filled with Spain fans wearing a Netherlands jersey, do you? Keep calm, folks, because we've complied a list of the best places to watch the games -- by country!

And dad. Remember him? He's the guy who footed the bill for that lucrative degree in medieval tapestry. The least you could do is take him out for a good meal. We've got you covered with several totally cool options for dad Hint: Pappy Van Winkle pancakes, anyone?

Weekend starts now!

World Cup Watching

The 2014 FIFA World Cup is in full swing and fortunately for us, Miami is an international city. That means that whether you're rooting for Spain, Argentina makes your heart sing, or Australia's your team, mate, there's a bar or restaurant where you can feel at home cheering your team to victory. Take a look at these bars and restaurants and plan your viewing accordingly:

Win Dad Entry into the Papa's Pilar Fishing Tournament

When celebrating dad this Sunday, let's take time to remember "Papa" Hemingway. Sure, his kids probably didn't have a Leave it to Beaver-type life, but they probably had some great adventures. If your dad's the adventurous type (or he just likes a good bottle of rum), enter him in Papa's Pilar "Never a Spectator" contest.

Just share a picture of your "papa" on Facebook or Twitter (@papaspilar) using hashtag #fathersday and tell everyone why Dad's "never a spectator" by June 30. The picture with the most votes wins entry into the first annual Papa's Pilar fishing tournament in Miami on July 12.

Brunch It With Dad

Sure, you take mom out to a nice restaurant on her big day, but what does dad normally get on Father's Day? Socks or a new tie.

Come on -- dads like pancakes and eggs just as much as Mom does -- maybe even more. So take the old man out for a nice meal. Since he's a manly man, your father's not getting some rose to take home at these restaurants offering deals for dad. Instead, they're pulling out all the stops with free spice rubs, cigars, bourbon, and other "dad-specific" goodies. Here's a list so you can make reservations now:

Take Dad to Jungle Island for a Wild Time

If Dad's a little on the "wild side," take him to Jungle Island this Sunday, June 15 for their second annual Father's Day bash. From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., dads (and you) will enjoy free craft beer tastings from Harpoon Brewery; a man cave equipped with arcade games courtesy of GameTime; live classic rock performances from Mad World Orchestra and Journey tribute band, Odyssey; classic cars; and yummy food from food trucks including BC Tacos, Che Grill, Da Burger Shack, and Monster Burgers.

Best of all? Dad gets in free with a full-paying general admission ticket ($37.40). Purchase tickets in advance at jungleisland.com.
