Prix-Fixe Lunch Menu at Alter
For anyone who loves a great deal, we have good news — Alter's Miami Spice lunch menu is here to stay. Executive chef Brad Kilgore will continue to offer the prix-fixe option this fall after the meal showed to be a success during Spice season. The $29 menu will include previously offered items such as the blue crab shumai and BLT. New additions include a risotto with royal shrimp, dill, and Boursin; and duck leg confit with pearl onion kimchi, young cabbage, cashew condiment, and black garlic. Favorites like the soft egg and flank steak will be available as additions. A five-course chef tasting menu is also available. For more information and reservations, visit altermiami.com.

Komen. The Pink Smoothie is made with strawberries, beets, banana, avocado, and almond milk, and the Pretty in Pink cocktail is prepared with vanilla vodka, lychee puree, raspberries, and a splash of lemon juice. The offer will run throughout October.

Final Fried Chicken Feast at Cena by Michy
Chef Michelle Bernstein’s all-you-care-to-eat fried chicken feast ends tonight. The chef’s fried-chicken night has been offered weekly since July, but as with every good thing, its time has come to an end. Priced at $39 per person, the meal features endless helpings of Bernstein’s signature fried chicken served with a bottomless parade of sides: flaky biscuits, mashed potatoes 'n' gravy, Southern slaw, and watermelon wedge salad.
