Steer Roast at Quality Meats
Executive chef Patrick Rebholz has partnered with chef Norberto “Negro” Piattoni for a three-day whole-steer cookout. Dinners begin tonight and feature dishes from a 900-pound steer, along with sides, bread, and desserts cooked in a specially constructed “fire kitchen.” Tonight's theme is barbecue and costs $59 per person, including beer pairings. It will feature whole ribs, sausage, and steaks such as bavette, hanger, flank, and skirt steak. Opus One Wine Dinner at Scarpetta
Feast on a five-course meal prepared by Scarpetta chef de cuisine Neil O’Connell and complemented by Opus One Wines. Each of the five courses will be paired with a varietal from the winery. Priced at $350 per person, including tax and gratuity, dinner will begin at 8 p.m. Menu items include short-rib and fontina croquettes, scallop and tuna crudo, crispy polenta, veal saltimbocca with marble potatoes, and lemon and olive oil tart.
