We tasted every cut, savored every sauce, and guzzled shot after shot of free beer. After sampling the wares of the 20 featured restaurants
and a similar number of brew stands
at the Seminole Hard Rock/New Times
first annual Rock N' Roll Beer-B-Que
, we've now been rendered, for the most part, immobile.
At least we can say we've tasted BBQ from the best grills in South Florida. Out of the 20 joints, five won awards (in the form of customized ESP Viper guitars) in each of six categories, judged by five local foodies -- "Burger Beast" Sef Gonzalez, Rosy Cordero, Cleve Baker, Peter D'oench, and (New Times Broward/Palm Beach editor) Eric Barton.
