Remember The Craft Brewjas, the Miami women who love beer? How could you forget? Well they are taking over Lester's tonight in Wynwood to give folks a chance to join the ladies for an educational beer tasting event.
The event begins at 8 p.m. and costs $20. You get a 5-ounce pour of eight different beers, plus one whole beer of your choice, either from the tasting menu or Lester's beer menu.
The beers include Cigar City Cucumber Saison, Stoudts Karnival Kolsch, Ommegang Witte, Terrapin Easy Rider IPA, Maredsous 10-Triple, Thomas Creek Pump House Porter, Arrogant Bastard Ale and Fort Collins Chocolate Stout. The Brewjas will also be selling t-shirts for $15.
You will notice that it is on a Friday,
which is funny because Fridays just happen to be a celebrated holiday
among the crafty ladies. They call it Fermented Fridays. It's the last day of
the work week that many Americans dream about since Monday.
If you are not a part or have not heard of The Craft Brewjas, here is your chance to check them out. This is a fine example of locals teaming up to promote each other.
The club and the event is not strictly for women, men can join the fun too.

SHOW ME HOW
"We bring Fermented Fridays to the masses!" says Arwen Lehman, the Brewjas frontwoman. "I have a feeling it's going to be a lot more of a homey get together."
There is no formal RSVP required, but people who are interested should email Daniel Milewski, the owner of Lester's, so they can get an idea of how much beer to bring. The event will be capped at 50 people.
"I've never heard of a women's beer club before and I thought it sounded kind of cool," Milewski says.
