Father's Day is this Sunday, and chances are your dad might want nothing more than to stay on the La-Z-Boy and watch the game. But the recliner will always be there -- these Father's Day brunch specials will not. This Sunday, forgo buying yet another tie and show Dad some love by treating him at one of the restaurants below.
There's something on this list for every dad or abuelo, whether he's into brunch or is more of a steak-dinner guy. For bonus points, throw in a hand-rolled cigar and maybe a round of golf to boot. Note: Reservations are strongly suggested, and tip and tax are generally not included.
This Father's Day, treat dad to a gourmet a la carte brunch overlooking Biscayne Bay at 15th & Vine Kitchen and Bar from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Prices range from $6- $23. Standout dishes include blueberry lemon pancakes served with warm maple syrup; spicy black beans ranchero with chorizo; poached egg and green tomatillo salsa, and three flatbread options. Light salads and healthy options are available for those watching carbs. For $15 more, enjoy unlimited mimosas or bloody marys.
From 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. enjoy an all-you-can-eat brunch for $22.95 at American Social. Chilled snow crabs, Belgian waffles, and made-to-order omelets are just a few of the items that will be available. For $10 extra, indulge in unlimited mimosas and a full Bloody Mary bar. All fathers will be offered a hand-rolled cigar as a parting gift.
Bianca at the Delano will offer a special brunch in honor of all the dads on Father's Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to Bianca's traditional brunch offerings, the special Father's Day edition brunch will feature Zeppole di San Giuseppe - Saint Joseph's Fritters, a classic Father's Day dessert along with complimentary craft beer for all dads. Wynwood Brewing Company and the Executive Culinary Team at the Ritz Carlton in Coconut Grove will host a "Beer-B-Que" Father's Day Brunch on Sunday, June 15, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Ritz Carlton in Coconut Grove. The brunch is $55 for adults and $20 for kids with an added $10 option for unlimited mimosas, bloody marys, and craft beer. What could be better than live music and craft beers to celebrate dad? This contemporary steakhouse that recently opened at Trump National Doral will honor fathers with a gift -- their special, secret spice blend to all dads who dine with them for dinner on Sunday, June 15 for Father's Day. A blackboard special of a sizzling 16 oz. T Bone Steak using the same spice blend will be offered for $42. If you're craving surf & turf, a Maine lobster tail can be added for an additional $20.
The entire family can celebrate Dad with Bocce Bar's prix fixe menu, which costs $34 per adult and $15 per child and includes one entrée. Buffet options include an assortment of house-made pastries, and offerings from the antipasti table, omelet station, and endless desserts. Standout dishes include the Ricotta Pancake with rhubarb compote, seafood lasagna with shrimp, crab, and herbs, and roasted whole pig "Porchetta" with creamy polenta and pan jus.
Bulla is offering Dad a "man's meal," consisting of the Cowboy Bulla Steak ($32), 25 oz. rib eye drizzled with idiazabal cream, mojo picon and mojo verde served with salt crusted potatoes, piquillo peppers, and grilled asparagus. A $27 tasting menu is also available, which includes eggs, small plates, sweet items, and large, family-style plates. Bottomless sangria and mimosas are $15 extra per person.
On Sunday, Café Prima Pasta is offering pasta for papas and complimentary
"man-tinis" in celebration of Father's Day with special additions to the restaurant's a la carte menu and a happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m., where patrons enjoy 50 percent off the regular dinner and drink menus. Father's Day specials include Spaghetti Lobster Meatballs ($18), Florida lobster meatballs on a bed of homemade linguine; Tuna Carpaccio ($12.95), thin slices of sushi-grade tuna drizzled with olive oil and a splash of lemon served with capers, arugula and fresh tomatoes; Veal Rollatini ($34.95), pan seared veal stuffed with prosciutto, provolone and onions in a Marsala Barolo mushroom sauce; Chilean sea bass ($38.95), fresh sea bass baked with Florida oranges and garden herbs and Ossobuco ($38.95), veal shank served with risotto Milanese. All dads will also be treated to a complimentary shot of sambuca as a savory after-dinner drink.
"Wok Star" Eleanor Hoh and Casa Vinicola Zonin USA are partnering to host a dad-friendly cooking class Thursday, June 12 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Students will prepare three dishes paired with Italian wines. From 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., The Restaurant at the Setai will offer a buffet with a variety of dishes from their rotisserie, seafood, Indian, Sun Coast, and pastry stations. Brunch costs $110, and includes a free flow of champagne, Bellinis, mimosas, and bloody marys. For the kids joining dad, mini hot dogs, hamburger sliders, and cheese pizza will be offered. For an interactive experience, order the Tuna Toro & Kobe Beef cooked table-side on Hot Himalayan Pink Salt and Truffle Ponzu.

At SushiSamba's Coral Gables location, treat dad to a three-course prix-fixe at $30 per person or à la carte. Includes bottomless prosecco for an additional $25 per person. Standout dishes include: Short rib Eggs Benedict with honey-soy braised short rib, organic egg, and aji Amarillo hollandaise; Churrasco Sandwich with charred beef ribeye, roasted shiitake, organic egg, and black truffle; Doce de Leite French Toast with fresh berries and sesame whipped cream. For dads craving some southern comfort, Swine and Yardbird will offer brunch on Saturday, June 14, and Sunday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Yardbird) and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Swine). Both eateries will serve Pappy's Pancakes ($100), a big stack of banana pecan pancakes with candied bacon, warm bourbon maple syrup, and three fingers of Pappy Van Winkle's Family Reserve (20 years) -- limited availability.
For Father's Day weekend at Tongue & Cheek, take advantage of the free coffee from 10 a.m. to noon. For $35 per person, enjoy an a la carte brunch menu or a special Ca Ja China Roasted Pork Menu and all the trimmings. In addition, children under 10 eat free. For $55 per person, enjoy a bottomless brunch with unlimited mimosas, bloody marys, and New York strip cut table-side.
Enjoy brunch with a view at Verde from 11 a.m to 5 p.m. Items include smoked salmon with a bagel, cream cheese, tomatoes and capers; Eggs Benedict with a classic hollandaise; a gruyere omelet with fine herbs, spinach omelet with goat cheese and mushrooms, and steak & eggs.
