Looks like Spring -- and new beginnings -- are in the air!
Chef Michael Reidt and wife Carina welcomed a baby boy into the world late last week.
Noah Michael Reidt was born at 3:28 p.m. on February 21 at Mercy Hospital. The healthy, happy baby boy weighed in at 7 pounds, 8 ounces.

Chef Reidt is one proud papa, telling Short Order, "It's a beautiful kick in the ass as to how amazing life is, and how incredibly fortunate I am to be part of his!"
Reidt is also working on a different kind of baby. The chef, formerly of Area 31, most recently consulted on the menu and kitchen development at Batch Gastropub, and is now working on his own restaurant, Pilgrim.
